lyrics
up on the north shore,
down on the south shore,
we wanna go where the cool wind blows,
down on my luck now,
I find you somehow,
get me out of the city,
we wanna go,
we wanna go,
we wanna go,
we wanna go,
taking the train to singing beach,
riding the bikes down to the cape.
down on the south shore,
up on the north shore,
the ocean seemed so shallow,
told me your bad dreams,
the sea gives us good ones,
open your book too,
I wanna know
I wanna know
I wanna know
I wanna know,
can you live with contradiction,
what's with all these kids never in love,
never in love...
up on the north shore,
hey man, this is the south shore,
oh whatever at least we're
free and gone
free and gone
free and gone
free and gone,
she will never say
what you want to hear
if you need my I
with be right underwater,
i'll be right under there,
be right under there...
Hands and Knees write many different kinds of rock-and-roll songs; it's like the White Album all the time. Sometimes they even hang out. They've been around since 2005.
Opener absolutely rips. Falls into the ranks of tracks like “Dance” by ESG, “Eisbaer” by Grauzone, “Damaged Goods” by Gang of Four or like the album description says Kleenex. This is some really good stuff. Favorite song is the opener but dedicate “Blue” to my friend Blue who lost her life at 22, she would have loved this album. TheBloodofChrist
