I woke up this morning and thought, "I should write and record a song today, a sort of Instant Karma type of thing, all at once." Well, here it is. I texted Carina, Scott and Nick, and asked if they wanted to help out. Nick didn't get back to me just yet (thus the drum machine and kid drum set bits), but Scott and Carina played along. Throughout the day I put some lyrics and parts together as time allowed and recorded the song on my phone with Garageband. It's not the best thing in the world, but HEY it's kinda weird, and a nice try I think. I hope to make it a tradition, to write and record a song in a single day every New Year's eve. So....cheerio! 2020 good riddance! Let's not forget this terrible year, but hope for better days ahead.
